For instance Car Breakdown Cover, the AA & RAC still operate sales teams that sell breakdown cover, you'll often see them in shopping centre, supermarkets or motorway services. These guys are Sales Agents and earn a commission on what they sell, they often give better discounts than what you'll receive from the websites.
For Motor Insurance, look online then call to see if that price can be beaten.
